Zelly Martin's work centers on the intersections between health communication, disinformation, and political propaganda. Zelly Martin will speak on the current disinformation landscape in the United States and the roles of platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as emerging technologies such as encrypted messaging apps. Do the recent interventions by these platforms, go far enough in the fight again disinformation? What might we expect in the future?
