About the Pacific Green Party

The Pacific Green Party of Oregon was founded in 1990 and is a grassroots political organization with the mission of promoting our values: Peace, Sustainability, Justice, and Grassroots Democracy.  We are pleased to be affiliated with millions of Greens worldwide, and are the recognized by the Green Party of the US as the statewide Green Party representative in Oregon.

The Pacific Green Party is the party of choice for almost 9,000 registered voters.  In partisan elections, we get over 50,000 votes consistently, despite the two party duopoly. We’re proud to be a part of a progressive movement that holds over 200 elected offices across the nation and many more around the world.
