Minutes of 8/23/09 SCC Meeting

PGP SCC Phone Conference Meeting: 8:00 PM, 9/23/09

Present: Charles (Facilitator), Mike Van Handel (Notetaker), Tristin Mock, Seth Woolley.

Minutes of previous meeting approved.

Proposed agenda of Corvallis convention approved with proviso that we should add announcements, in which we will make mention of Seth's open letter to Kate Brown regarding the hiring of Stephen Trout.

Charles will be inviting Chuck Willer (Coast Range association) to the convention, but is not certain there will be time for discussion of forestry issues.

We assume there will be issues coming out of this convention (fusion, for example) that will need to be dealt with in another convention later this year or early in 2010.

We decided to defer to the next meeting any further discussion and possible decision on forgiveness of GPUS revenue sharing.

Seth reports that there are updates to the new web site pending.

No new information available from the chapters.

As an afterthought, Tristin brought to our attention that the calendar does not include chapter meeting information; chapters should be encouraged to publicize their meetings.
