Minutes of previous meeting adopted.

State Convention (Jan.19th, Portland, Metanoia House): Since it is to be a nominating convention, Mike V.H. is arranging with George Hutchinson for proper public notice.
The Treasurer thought a mailer to every Green in the metro area would be too expensive, suggested limiting the cost to $600. after some discussion, the conclusion was to raise the amount to $800; targeting to start with the most recent registrants (last two years) in the 3-county area, then start with youngest remaining members and work up till allotted funds are used up. The purpose is to try to involve our newest and youngest members in the Portland area.
The Agenda at this point will include: in the morning, nominations (Michael Meo will seek nomination for Blumenauer's district), then a re-examination of party policy on accepting union donations. In the afternoon: a presentation on a project to ask the Portland City Council to pass an ordinance denying Corporate Personhood in the city. This would be part of a national campaign, and could be extended to other jurisdictions in Oregon.
There was discussion of including a Strategic Planning Session led by Brian Setzler, but he wasn't present to respond.

Michael Meo reported on a Portland City Council candidate, Ed Garren, who has asked for and received local Pacific Green Party support. He would be a sure supporter of the anti-Corporate Personhood campaign.

The question arose whether Mike Beilstein will want early nomination for the 4th Dist (DeFazio), to facilitate signature gathering for the Voters' Pamphlet. Mike?

Charles reported on Ralph Penunuri's development of PGP campaign materials for the Yes on 66/67 campaign. They will be available in electronic form when Ralph is through with them, for PGP members throughout the state to use.
On the same subject, Yes for Oregon will have lawn signs and bumper stickers available soon, already has handouts available. Portland chapter has already been handing them out.

Jackson County chapter is participating with 6 other organizations in a lawsuit for freedom of assembly in Medford(?).
