Write your Representative- Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act

Feel free to copy the text below to write your Representative regarding changing the federal status of marijuana.

I ask that you join Rep. Barney Frank in his desire to reschedule marijuana from a Schedule 1 to a Schedule 2 drug. This will offer federal recognition that marijuana has medicinal use.
*It will put federal law in line with the Oregon Board of Pharmacy, which recently reclassified marijuana as a Schedule 2 drug.
*It will ease patients access to medicine
*It will empower doctors to write prescriptions for cannabis
*It will allow growers to cultivate medicinal cannabis without fear of Federal raids

I ask that you respect the will of your constituents and State Legislature. Oregon has legalized marijuana for medicinal use, and we want you to support that recognition on the federal level by co-sponsoring the Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act introduced by Rep. Barney Frank.
