Minutes of Previous meeting approved.

Request from New Mexico Green Party to send a letter on marijuana classification upgrade to members of Congress: Agreed by consensus; Tristin will send a statement, including an addition about Oregon State Board of Pharmacy classification change, to Congress members.

State Convention: July 31 at Metanoia Peace House in Portland. Metro Chapter will supply honorarium to Peace House - Michael M. will check with Geo. H. about notifications.
Noted: Walt Brown willing to stand aside for Candy Neville on Senate nomination if she is registered as a Green.

Seth on Party Statement for Voters Pamphlet: requires $1200 or 500 signatures. Michael questions value of statement; Randy and several others point out that it reaches a lot of people, some of whom read all of the pamphlet, and can supplement and reinforce the candidate statements. Budgeting the money is agreed by consensus; Randy will write one, starting with Seth's from '08 and tailored to candidate statements. Has to be submitted by August 24.

Campaign news: Chris Lugo's website: www.chrislugoforcongress.com. Michael and Chris L. have been collecting signatures for Pamphlet statements, with some success.
