Green convention in Eugene to select delegates for national convention

Sunday's (April 15) Pacific Green Party of Oregon meeting at the Eugene Water & Electric Board Community Meeting Room will select delegates for the Green Party of the U. S annual national meeting and presidential nominating convention, which is being held in Baltimore, Md, July 12-15.

The Pacific Green Party is entitled to nine delegates out of a possible total of 401.

Five delegates are yet to be selected.

Party members who wish to be considered as delegates, but cannot attend the April 15 meeting in Eugene,

Contenders for the presidential nomination at the Baltimore convention include Rosanne Barr, Kent Mesplay, Harley Mikkelson, and Jill Stein.
