Pacific Greens welcome Jill Stein to campaign office
Today, (Sept. 9), Jill Stein attended the Grand Opening of a Pacific Green Party/Jill Stein for President campaign office, operated by the Linn-Benton chapter of the Pacific Green Party. Jill arrived in style. She rendezvoused with local Greens at the iconic Benton County Courthouse in downtown Corvallis and was then driven to the campaign office in a pedicab by local Green business owner Dan Crall.

The crowd of approximately 70 people greeted Jill with sustained applause and cheers when she arrived at the campaign office. Jill wowed the crowd with an impassioned, spontaneous, fact-filled talk about the need to act courageously and implement a Green New Deal to address the twin crises of unemployment and climate change.
Pacific Green Party Secretary of State candidate Seth Woolley; Pacific Green Party candidate for Oregon House District No. 23 Alex Polikoff; and Pacific Green Party candidate for Benton County Commissioner, Tim Dehne, all addressed the crowd as well.
There was live music provided by local Greens Ralph Penunuri and Karl Smiley along with homemade treats and locally-produced root beer. A splendid time was had by all.
The Pacific Green Party's Linn & Benton County campaign office is located in south Corvallis, at the corner of Hwy 99 and SE Bridgeway.
