Last week's minutes approved by consensus
With regard to reduction in the number of our national representatives, Michael Sonnleitner and Beverly Brown have offered to resign.
Seth to contact national party to inform it of our representatives.
We extend our thanks to Michael Sonnleitner and Beverly Brown for their service; we accept their resignations.
We agreed to ask Chris Henry to contact Chris Mason to provide orientation.
We agreed to endorse a letter in opposition to Senator Wyden's forest plan for the east side, but Tristin will enumerate reservations.
Tristin is to act as editor of the web site.
Tristin will also start a facebook page -- some link should be added to the state party's web site.
Charles will contact Pat regarding the addition of call fowarding.
At the convention in Eugene, SCC elections will be held on Saturday. We will try to set up a registration drive on Saturday, also.
Campaign and chapter reports:
Michael Meo reported on the first of the 3rd Congressional District debates -- the libertarian newspaper in Portland acknowledged his debating skill, but rated Republican Delia Lopez higher after pointing out the mistakes she made.
Charles reported on the Linn-Benton chapter election of officers: Charles as chair, Mike Beilstein as Secretary, Mike Van Handel as recording Secretary, Alex Polikoff and George Hutchinson to the coordinating committee.
Suzia will be sending information on the ACLU case pending in Medford.
Next week's facilitator: Mike Van Handel, notetaker: Charles Newlin
