State Convention Agenda, Sunday, June 2nd, 2013, Eugene, Oregon.
9:00am: Introductions / Roll Call and Announcements, followed by a summary of the agenda and an opportunity for attendees to call for the addition of any other pertinent topics that are not otherwise on the agenda up for discussion.
10:00am: Overview of events since the last convention, pending legislation, discussion regarding the platform, and discussion regarding topics to be covered during “open space” groups.
11:00am: GMO / Food Bill of Rights
12:00pm: Lunch
1:00pm: Open Space – break into small groups for topical discussions
2:00pm: Green Shadow Cabinet
3:00pm: State/Chapter/Local organizing, events planning; how can we continue to “Spread the Word” and reach a broader audience.
4:00pm: Planning for the 2014 elections, discussing potential candidates and strategy.
5:00pm: Discuss the next convention; hold any pertinent elections regarding open SCC seats/amendments to party platform.
Breaks:
Breaks will be 15 minutes long and be held at 10:45am – 11:00am, and 3:45pm – 4:00pm.
