1. Previous minutes approved without objection
2. The upcoming state convention will have, by consensus, a couple of items included in the agenda.
First, it will discuss the issue of to what extent the candidates of the Party are guided in accepting large donations -- or any donations at all -- from union PACs.

3) Date/location of next convention have been set at Jan 16, 2010 at Metanoia House in Portland. Mike will contact Michael Meo to confirm that our understanding of the scheduled reservation is correct.

Minutes for previous meeting confirmed.

Michael Meo said that there was no reply from Metanoia House yet.

Discussion of forgiving national party's revenue-sharing debt to Oregon was put off until treasurer can be on the call. Charles will ask Pat about "state-driven fundraising," mentioned in letter from national treasurer. (Done).

Minutes of previous meeting approved.

Proposed agenda of Corvallis convention approved with proviso that we should add announcements, in which we will make mention of Seth's open letter to Kate Brown regarding the hiring of Stephen Trout.

Charles will be inviting Chuck Willer (Coast Range association) to the convention, but is not certain there will be time for discussion of forestry issues.

PGP SCC Phone Conference Meeting: 8:30 PM, 9/17/09

Present: Mike Van Handel (Facilitator), Charles Newlin (Notetaker), Michael Meo, Tristin Mock, Suzia Aufderheide; Seth Woolley joined late.

Convention Parking: Agreed not to rent Westminster House parking lot, plan on street parking and a shuttle arrangement. Tristin Mock set up an account on Carpool Match.com, mainly for those coming from other communities.

Minutes of Aug. 30 meeting approved by consensus.

SCC meeting time change proposed by Mike Van Handel. After some discussion, adopted Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. as the time for future SCC meetings. The next meeting will be Wednesay, September 16.

Added to agenda at Jim N.'s request: Appointing Jim temporary National Delegate so he can attend the National Convention while in North Carolina. AGREED, (Steve Geiger has created an opening.)

Reviewed recent State Convention: pursuing discussion of website issues, there are still questions about old files on website. Charles agreed to contact long-term members for information .
