Local media reports action by Mary Addams as part of the Lane County chapter's bee initiative project.
There was an article in 10/31 Eugene Weekly about the plight of the honeybees. Lane County chapter member Mary Addams was quoted in it as a member of the local Green Party, so we got some good press!! Jerry's, in both Eugene and Springfield, have very good educational brochures next to the neonic pesticides. Next week, they're going to put "not bee friendly" stickers on the price tags of the neonics!! Yippie!! Let's try to think of some actions we can do in March and April in front of stores who are ignoring us. And a good action in front of Down to Earth, which refuses to even carry the neonics.
