Voter Registration Drive

This is our top priority!

Our goal is to register at least 3,000 new Greens as soon as possible.  To that end, we have several projects underway:

Door to Door and general tabling

We are looking for volunteers to table at local venues and walk door-to-door to register new voters.  Check in with your local county chapter.  We can provide everything you need, go to 

Tabling at major venues

Our primary strategy is to table at major events and venues.  So far we've done Earth Day (April) and are now doing OCTA Concerts (benefit by Toots and the Maytals).  We need volunteers to:

• tell us about upcoming events, using our Calendar.
• table at the event, materials (voter forms, signup sheets, flyers, posters) can be requested at our Request Materials page.
• post pictures and writeups about the event!

Also included in this category is tabling at colleges and universities.

New Chapters

If you don't have a local chapter, start one!  We can provide material, voter lists, and guidance to anyone seeking to start a new chapter.

Green Pledge

This project is in collection phase: gathering signatures from progressives (many of whom are Democrats).

The reminder phase will begin in May 2012.  We will set up phone banks and send out emails to folks to ask them to redeem their pledge by re-registering Green.
