Key issues to be reviewed at this business meeting:
1) Election of 4 State Coordinating Committee members - no experience needed, we will provide training and support
Please fill this Statement of Candidacy questionnaire if you are interested in running for a position on the SCC
2) Discussion of communications-related issues, including ratification of the preliminary social media guidelines adopted by the State Coordinating Committee
3) A brief overview of sexism within the party and how it manifests
4) Changes to the bylaws and constitution
5) Updates to the platform
Here is the draft agenda with links to the documents to be reviewed. The final agenda is set at the convention proper.
Please REGISTER to attend - we need to credential you beforehand.
Note: To be able to vote in the Green Party meeting you need to be a supporting member (registered Green and volunteer a minimum of 90 min in the past three months, includes participation in meetings)
NEVERTHELESS, we strive to reach consensus, so you can have a voice in the decisions because we use a modified consensus process. We go to a vote only when there is a group unwilling to stand aside; this avoids stalemates.
Please watch for our Spring convention, when we will decide on initiatives and races to support in the coming cycles. We plan on holding another Campaign Sklills Share tied to the Spring Convention.
