The January 21, 2023 Convention will focus on
Electing Party Officials and National Delegates, Bylaw revisions, 2023 campaigns
Key issues to reviewed at this convention included:
1) Review of Proposed Bylaws - derived through a consensus-seeking process. How to empower the grassroots, while also providing enough coordination to support each other's initiatives.
A series of meetings will be held in November December, with a longer meeting planned for December 10 or 17
2) Election of Party Officials
Three positons for State Coordinating Committee will be up for election, as well as delegates to the National Committee

NEVERTHELESS, we strive to reach consensus, so you can have a voice in the decisions because we use a modified consensus process. We go to a vote only when there is a group unwilling to stand aside; this avoids stalemates.
