Help us build a movement!

Help us build a movement! People power requires people!
Step 1: Register Green! There is literally no downside, and it helps us demonstrate our power. There is power in numbers. If we band together, the powers that be have to listen to us, or else lose their power.
Step 2: Find a way to get involved. Not every action is for everyone and that's ok! There are several ways to plug-in. One way is to volunteer for a campaign you care about. There are several campaigns happening right now.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) has been making it a habit lately to take to social media to attack the Green Party. In one video she implies we don't try to win local seats. Well, AOC should know that we do. She even campaigned for a Green in a local race in 2017 when Jabari Brisport ran for New York City Council. In fact, there are at least 143 Greens currently in elected offices across the United States. Since 1985, Greens have won at least 1502 races.

The Pacific Green Party held its first nominating convention marking a significant milestone in the party's efforts to promote environmental sustainability, social justice, and grassroots democracy in Oregon.
The convention saw Dr. Jill Stein emerge as a clear favorite, securing 9 delegates, while Jasmine Sherman received 2 delegates. Jorge Zavala did not receive any delegates.
A highlight of the convention was the insightful panel discussion featuring current Greens in elected office. Panelists Josiah Dean, Alex Polikoff, Michael Clary, and Michael Sonnleitner shared their personal experiences from various parts of the state, discussed the meaning of being Green on councils and boards, shared lessons learned, and explored ways to develop succession and governing expertise within the party.
Please see below for the results from our June 1st Nominating Convention Election.

Pacific Green Party Condemns University of Oregon’s Action Against Justin Filip, Demands Immediate Reinstatement
Eugene, OR – 6/06/24 – The Pacific Green Party (PGP) strongly condemns the University of Oregon's decision to place Justin Filip on administrative leave for supporting the student-led initiative advocating for Palestinian rights and divestment from companies complicit in the Israeli occupation. Justin Filip, a dedicated member of our party, has been an unwavering advocate for social justice, human rights, and ethical governance.
The administration's punitive action against Justin Filip is a blatant suppression of free speech and an affront to academic freedom. It is deeply concerning that an institution dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and the promotion of critical thinking would resort to such measures against an individual standing in solidarity with oppressed communities.
