Eugene Environmental Film Festival, Oct. 13-19
The Eugene Environmental Film Festival also returns with a 7-day program of films, filmmaker Q&As, panel discussions, workshops, and other activities designed to educate and inspire action on a wide range of environmental issues. This week, Senator Ron Wyden has town hall events in Lane County (9/24) and Multnomah County (9/26). See our calendar of events for details. Town halls are an opportunity to hold your elected representative accountable. We encourage people to attend and to come prepared with questions.
There are no other town hall events currently scheduled, but we will do our best to alert you once they are announced. Check back on our calendar of events or the websites of your federal representatives for updates. To find out who represents you, check out these Legislative District Maps .

The Pacific Green Party is calling on members to donate $26 for 2026!
In 2024, the PGP wasn't able to provide financial support to our candidates nor to our chapters the way we need to. Let's do better in 2026. If each of our 8,000+ registered Greens in Oregon gave $26, we would have over $200,000 to run aggressive campaigns for people, the planet, and peace. We do need something better than the two major parties. This is why we started the Green Party back in 1984!
Continue reading2026 Winter Convention Date Announced
As voted on by the membership, the date for the 2026 Winter Convention will be Saturday, January 24th.
Among the agenda items will be voting on PGP leadership positions. Three (3) seats on the State Coordinating Committee will be on the ballot, and we need to select two delegates to the Green Party National Committee.
To submit an item for consideration for the convention agenda, please complete this form. The requested information satisfies the documentation requirements under Bylaws Article VIII. Items that have not been reviewed by an appropriate committee, have not met submission deadlines, or are not accompanied by appropriate documentation may be rejected or deferred to a later convention.
The tentative date of the Spring Nominating Convention is Saturday, May 16th, with voting to conclude on Tuesday, May 19th (same day as the primary election for the major parties).

We are excited to be joined by Butch Ware, Green Party candidate for Governor of California.
Butch Ware is an associate professor of history at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and was the 2024 vice presidential nominee for the Green Party.
His work includes organizing teach-ins, developing educational initiatives & leading movements challenging imperialism, militarism & ethnic cleansing.
