The Eugene Greens had a great time at the 2nd Annual People's Fall Fest this past weekend!
Volunteers got to show off some of our new tabling materials and visit with some of the other great orgs in our community. We also promoted Protect Lane County Watersheds and Ballot Measure 20-373, which will be on the ballot next year, and Healthcare for All Oregon. Several attendees signed up for more information on these issues and more.
The event also featured some terrific panel discussions, and our own Justin Filip (Secretary) moderated a panel titled "Roots of Resilience: Defending Forests and Restoring our Relationship with the Land." It was an informative exchange about forestry, indigenous practices, and how we can best support sustainable, healthy forests.
Special thank you to Food Not Bombs Eugene for proving some free eats, and to the musicians who added to the positive vibes! Big thanks to everyone who made this a successful event. We are stronger together! ✊️
