Why do you want to pursue this role? What interests you about it? What are the top issues you're campaigning on?
Benton County is in need of Commissioners that will have a long range environmental vision. We should elect representatives who are not swayed by corporate campaign contributions. As a Green Party candidate I'll be campaigning on environmental policy to protect Benton County and it's residents. The issue of our county's landfill and it's long term impact on this area's handling of waste for future generations should be front and center over the next years for our commissioners. Housing and services for our citizens and future citizens is also a priority. As a member of the Green Party I'll be looking for solutions that arise from engagement with our citizens, enabling us to leverage all citizens in formulating our policies.

Yes. Oregon should be at the forefront of creating sustainable systems to provide affordable healthcare for all.

Yes. The situation of aggression by Israel on its neighbors in the Palestinian territories and Lebanon amount to war crimes. Israel's relationship with the US government provides them with the leverage to continue their unlawful behavior. BDS is the most peaceful and easiest way for common people to express their disapproval of this misguided aggression.

Yes. Ranked choice voting is a fair system that enables voters to support multiple viable candidates.
