Meet the Candidates for Nomination: Timothy Dehne

Name: Timothy Dehne

Seeking the nomination for Oregon House District 11.

Party Affiliation: Pacific Green Party

Home: Tangent

Why do you want to pursue this role? What interests you about it? What are the top issues you're campaigning on?

The importance of Pacific Green Party to be a part of state government. I have been living in Linn County since 2019. After 2020, boundaries were changed and most of Linn county became District 11. The current Rep. (Jami Cate) is running for Oregon Senate District 6. Therefore District 11 is an open seat. I put my odds of winning at fair to good. My overriding issue is WATER. And running as a Green is important because folks have been expressing their desire to vote for other than Democrat or Republican. This feeling is nationwide, I believe, and the Green Party has its best opportunity to win elections.
