Why it could be President Bush & VP Kasich

jeb_0.jpg    Do not “misunderestimate” the fact that 80% of the votes in 2016 will be cast on electronic machines, with access controlled on electronic registration rolls. With this comes a network of private, partisan, for-profit companies that favor the Bushes.   Unless something is done before November 2016, there is no public recourse on any of the machines on which this election will be conducted. They are privately owned. The source code is proprietary. The boards of election have no access. There will be no meaningful recounts.  Link to full article can be found here.

Senators Wyden and Merkley—Support the Iran Nuclear Deal!

MerkleyWyden.jpg

Sign the following ad to be placed on OregonLive: On July 14th 2015, President Obama signed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) aka the “Iran Nuclear Deal” on behalf of the United States and its citizens. This agreement is being overwhelmingly supported around the world, by the United Nations, NATO, the European Union, the Arab League, the National Iranian American Council, and dozens of former ambassadors and analysts.

The Oregon voters whose names appear below most strongly urge Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley to show their support for this historic agreement. To vote against it would be a vote for war, would undermine the Executive authority to negotiate agreements on behalf of the United States, and would destroy months of delicate and difficult negotiations. It would also defy the overwhelming wishes and support of the international community.  To sign the ad click on Read More.

Jill Stein Announces run for President

Jill_Stein_Democracy_Now_2015_06_22.JPG    Dr. Jill Stein has announced her 2016 campaign for President of the United States!  Critical to this run is raising enough contributions from individuals to qualify for federal matching funds.  To that end, the Jill Stein campaign is looking for a volunteer in Oregon to send out a fundraising email to ask for matching funds donations, and make follow up calls – for which the campaign has provided a suggested phone script.  To volunteer call (541) 516-6059 or send an email to info@pacificgreens.org.
