Deporter In Chief

President_Obama.jpeg   From Yahoo News March 4, 2014: Janet Murguia, who heads the National Council of La Raza ... called President Barack Obama the "deporter in chief," denouncing the administration's deportation of nearly 2 million immigrants.   Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez ... implored Obama to halt deportations for relatives of U.S. citizens, legal residents and young people who were brought to the country illegally by family members.

Here's another good article on subject from the Guardian/UK.  From that article: "Earlier this week, a New York Times investigation revealed that over two-thirds of the deportation cases under Obama involved people who ... had committed a minor crime – or no crime at all. As the Times hammered home, and as the White House tried to defend, these statistics seriously undermine Obama's assertion during an election debate in October 2012 that the government should be focusing its deportation efforts on "criminals" or "gang bangers" – not going "after folks who are here just because they're trying to figure out how to feed their families".
